Tottenham Hotspur are today being linked with a potential move for Feyenoord midfielder Tonny Vilhena.
The 23-year-old Dutch international is also the subject of interest from Serie A outfit Roma.
Calciomercato claim that Tottenham have been monitoring Vilhena throughout Feyenoord’s Eredivisie campaign this season which currently sees them in third place behind PSV Eindhoven and Ajax.
Vilhena has won 15 caps for a country and is known for being a box to box midfielder. With uncertainties surrounding the future of Mousa Dembele at Tottenham, Mauricio Pochetttino is likely to be assessing potential successors.
Dembele is out of contract at Tottenham in the summer and has previously been linked on numerous occasions with an exit from the club. The 31-year-old is being tipped with a big money move to China (Independent).
He was struggled with injuries in recent times at Tottenham and has recently returned from Qatar for treatment on the ankle problem he picked up during the 3-2 win at Wolverhampton Wanderers early last month.
