Giovani dos Santos is reported to be attracting interest from Serie A side Genoa.

The out of favour Tottenham Hotspur midfielder has impressed during his displays for Mexico at the World Cup, helping his nation to qualify for the last 16 of the competition.

Dos Santos has failed to make an impact at White Hart Lane and has loan spells at Ipswich Town and Galatasaray.

It remains to be seen if Harry Redknapp will give the Mexican one final chance to stake a claim for a first-team place at Spurs.

  1. Well firstly he's our player, and if given a chance and gets his head down, would save us buying, bedding and hoping another purchase. Secondly with our fixtures this season, a healthy squad in terms of quality and depth will be vital if we are to continue on an upward surge. But, its all dependant on the player and Harry's take on him, both of which I feel is in the negative. Lastly would we get anything like our money back?, and maybe that's the real issue!

  2. it appears that dos santos has problems of disipline at his spanish club and at spurs.if he gets away with it,why shouldnt other players do the same?hes talented ,but trouble,he has to go.look at his potential buyer.genoa.where are they in italian football.sell him.

  3. I hope Dos Santos does enough to convince Harry he’s worth sticking with as he is clearly a very talented player. Apparently his attitude isn’t what it should be but if he knuckles down he can be a very useful player for someone, hopefully us.

  4. keep him!!!! he will be a real gem for the club once he gels with the rest of the tottenham players and i believe harry is the one to work that out

  5. Keep him Harry. Forget about Joe Cole, he's too expensive & too old. Spurs will be better off with Gio. He's younger, faster, good in running with the ball, more appetite for the game & he has far more experience playing abroad. But most logical fact is that, he's a Spurs. Use the money to get a world class striker. That's what we desperately need.
