Spurs midfielder pays tribute to team-mates upon exit

After fourteen years at Tottenham Hotspur, academy player Joe Pritchard trigged emotional responses from past and present team-mates after announcing on social media that he has left the club.

The midfielder captained our Under-23 side and featured in both the Premier League 2 and EFL Trophy this season, but his time in a Lilywhite shirt has come to an end after the club decided not to renew his contract.

Pritchard’s time at Spurs is up

Pritchard has had trials at both Cheltenham Town and Bolton Wanderers but has not signed with a club for next season as of yet.

He posted on Instagram earlier today: “Thank you for all the incredible memories I’ve shared during 14 years at this club! I’ve met brothers I will never forget and can’t wait to see what the future holds.”

Earlier today, rumours were circulating that spurs set to lose highly rated prospect Keanan Bennetts to Bundesliga outfit Borussia Mönchengladbach for a fee of around £2million.

Also expected to depart the club this summer are Ryan Loft, Nick Tsaroulla, Luke O’Reilly, Tom Glover, Shilow Tracey and Christian Maghoma.

Meanwhile, it is hoped that highly-rated striker Reo Griffiths is on the verge of signing his first professional deal at the club.
