Spurs players take to Twitter following Real Madrid mauling

Tottenham Hotspur players took to Twitter to celebrate the fantastic 3-1 demolition of current European champions Real Madrid at Wembley.

The result meant that Tottenham have secured their place in the last 16 of the Champions League with two games remaining whilst also condemning Real Madrid to their first Group Stage defeat in over five years.

A brace from the returning Dele Alli and one from Christian Eriksen ensured that Tottenham beat Madrid for the first time in their history.
