Spurs provide retail update to supporters in light of COVID-19 Tier 4 restrictions

Tottenham Hotspur have provided an update to supporters in light of London being placed in tier 4 of the national COVID-19 restriction measures.

As part of the rules, social mixing will be restricted to meeting one other person from outside your own household, and this must only be in an open public space.

Non-essential shops in areas falling under tier 4 measures have joined pubs and restaurants in being forced to close their doors during the crucial Christmas period for many businesses.

The rules have meant that Tottenham’s retail operations have been affected and have confirmed that their retail outlets will close from today until further notice.

For those who are still looking to buy merchandise from the club, supporters located in the UK are still able to place express delivery orders by 12:00 on Monday to receive them in time for Christmas.

Spurs chairman Daniel Levy admitted in March that coronavirus pandemic is the greatest challenge he has faced during his 19 years in charge of the North London outfit (Guardian).
