Spurs receive midfield boost ahead of Fulham trip; team news update

Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update ahead of Sunday’s Premier League trip to Fulham.

There is some positive injury news after the club confirmed that Eric Dier has returned to full training which is a welcome boost given our shortage of players in central midfield and will likely partner Harry Winks.

Dier has been out of action since November after undergoing an operation to remove his appendix.

Fellow midfielder Moussa Sissoko picked up a groin injury in the defeat to Manchester United on Sunday and is expected to be sidelined for a fortnight.

Lucas Moura has not featured since sustaining a thigh problem in the 7-0 FA Cup win against Tranmere Rovers and will miss the match at Craven Cottage.

Also missing are Harry Kane (ankle) and Victor Wanyama (knee), while Heung-min Son is on international duty with South Korea until potentially the beginning of February.

The club confirmed the injury news on their official Twitter page.
