Spurs reported to have made enquiries over potential Rose replacement

Tottenham Hotspur are reported to have made an enquiry for PSG left-back Layvin Kurzawa in the last few hours, according to French outlet Paris United.

The news has followed on the back of reports that Bundesliga outfit Schalke have approached Tottenham over the possibility of taking Danny Rose on loan, which was reported by Sky sources.

Kurzawa, a French international with 11 caps is valued in the region of £22million by PSG, where he has spent the last three seasons and has been heavily linked with a move to big-spending Premier League newcomers, Wolverhampton Wanderers.

One thing which is certain is there is going to be plenty of headlines and rumours in the build-up to tomorrow’s 5pm transfer deadline, but the stark reality remains that Tottenham remain the only Premier League club not to make a summer signing.
