Spurs reportedly considering £10m January move for potential Rose replacement

Tottenham are considering making a £10m bid for Celtic defender Kieran Tierney in January.

According to the Daily Express, Tottenham are considering making a move for the 21-year-old Scotland international when the transfer window reopens, with the Scottish clubs facing a £27m shortfall in income after failing to progress to the Champions League group stages.

Tiereny is regarded as as one of Europe’s brightest young talents and Tottenham could be ready to test Celtic’s resolve the left-back, of whom they value at nearly £30million.

Danny Rose was named among the Tottenham Hotspur substitutes for yesterday’s 3-1 win against Fulham at Wembley, with his long-term future at Spurs still uncertain having been linked with possible moves to Schalke and PSG.

The European transfer window closes on August 31stand Mauricio Pochettino has already hinted that there could be some departures squad this month.
