Spurs star rumoured to be top of Real Madrid’s transfer shopping list

Real Madrid want to sign Tottenham Hotspur striker Harry Kane, according to Spanish news outlet El Confidencial.

The report claims that the Spanish giants may be put off by the 25-year-old’s rumoured £200m price tag.

Kane signed a new six-year contract at Tottenham ahead of this summer’s World Cup worth up to £200,000 a week including bonuses

Previously he was previously on a basic wage of £100,000 a week. Under the terms of that deal, which he signed in December 2016 and was due to run until 2022, he also earned hefty bonuses.

It would take have to take a monumental offer for Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to part with the club’s most valuable asset.

Madrid are in the process of rebuilding their squad following the departure of Cristiano Ronaldo to Juventus and according to the report are keen to land another big name signing with Kane at the top of Florentino Perez’s shopping list.
