Spurs star’s Emoji reaction to suggesting he should have ‘snapped’ Bournemouth player

Moussa Sissoko continues to go up in the estimations of the majors of Spurs fans after every performance this season.

His transformation from Spurs scapegoat to fan favourite during the current campaign has been nothing short of spectacular.

The Spurs players and fans were left frustrated with the actions of Bournemouth’s Jefferson Lerma throughout the 1-0 defeat.

Lerma was seen striking Heung-min Son’s back on the lead up to the South Korean‘s sending off and was also involved in a late tussle with Dele Alli.

After the match, Sissoko posted a photo of himself in action on his Instagram page following the Premier League fixture and could not help but respond when one supporter suggested that he should have snapped Lerma.

While the comment is made with no intent but one of frustration, it is refreshing to see a Spurs player interact and acknowledge the supporters after what was supposed to be a game we should have won and secured our place in the top four.

Lerma was a constant annoyance throughout the match and it ended up proving costly with Son’s dismissal.
