Spurs to battle Chelsea and Everton for Inter Milan ace

Tottenham Hotspur are interested in signing Inter Milan midfielder Matias Vecino this summer, with the Italian club open to offers, according to Tutto Sport.

The 26-year-old Uruguayan is currently on international duty at the World Cup and played 87 minutes of his nation’s 1-0 win against Egypt on Friday.

Vecino joined Inter from fellow Serie A outfit Fiorentina last year and made 25 starts and four substitute appearances for Inter during the last campaign, scoring three goals and chipping in with two assists.

The player is also on the radar of Everton and could be added to Chelsea’s shopping list should Maurizio Sarri replace Antonio Conte as manager.

Inter value the player at £26 million and no news is expected until his World Cup campaign comes to a conclusion. I’ll be the first to admit that I’ve never really watched Sarri to give a personal opinion on if he would be a decent addition – if any fans are familiar with him, leave your comments below.
