Three Tottenham Hotspur players have been named in the PFA Premier League team of the season.
Jan Vertonghen, Christian Eriksen and Harry Kane were all voted by their fellow professionals as being the in-form players who have stood out and impressed during the current Premier League campaign.
Vertonghen has been our player of the season in my view, he has featured in 13 of Tottenham’s 14 Premier League games where they have kept a clean sheet this season; more than any other outfield player for Spurs.
Christian Eriksen has scored 10 Premier League goals and pitching in with 9 assists and certainly doesn’t get the credit he deserves from the media. We all know about Harry Kane’s goalscoring exploits and it’s a no-brainer that he is included yet again. However, the individual accolade he will want to retain the golden boot over Mo Salah, who currently has a four-goal advantage over the Spurs star.
Here’s the PFA Premier League team in full.
