It has been a good while since we had heard anything substantial from the club regarding the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium since they announced on August 14th that the launch date would be delayed.

Daniel Levy issues an apology

Earlier today, the Spurs chairman released a statement regarding the state of current affairs regarding the stadium and passed on his apologies to the fans.

New aerial drone footage shows stadium progress

There’s nothing like a piece of drone footage high above the site of the new stadium to provide a visual update of the progress of construction, this video delivers exactly that.

New stadium open date hint?

Daniel Levy made quite a big hint in his statement earlier today by claiming that the stadium could be possibly ready to open sooner than some may have thought.

Video walkaround of the new stadium

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. I don’t believe for one minute that critical safety systems are the cause of the delay, apparently the wiring needs attention, it doesn’t take months to rectify electrical work, it takes days, weeks at worst. It just wasn’t close enough to hold games there and the club have had to engineer an excuse to justify the delay and what better than a safety issue?
I’d have a lot more respect for Levy and co if they came out and told the fans the truth, it’s worrying though that its so easy to be dishonest, I wonder what else were not being told, Transfers might be one, or why the lack of. :-)
