Young Swansea City full-back Ben Davies does not have any special defensive plans in store for Gareth Bale when Tottenham travel to Swansea City on Saturday.
Davies has impressed during his first full season in the Swansea side and will face his Welsh international team-mate at the Liberty Stadium as we look to continue our quest for Champions League football.
Bale’s pace should prove to be a problem for Davies who isn’t the paciest full-back but for a 19-year-old has showed great composure in Swansea’s impressive campaign.
Asked if he had any ideas how to stop Bale Davies said: “Not really to be honest. You just play your normal game and see what happens.
“It is going to be a challenge we are looking forward to. He is a top player so it is going to be a big test for us.
“We will do our best to keep him quiet. I won’t be fazed by that. It is something I am looking forward to. I want to test myself against the best and he is in my opinion.”
