Team news ahead of the North London derby

Tottenham have been able to get some key players back from injury this week, namely Jan Vertonghen and Danny Rose.

Both of these stars featured in the Champions League match against Inter Milan mid week, with Vertonghen starting the game, and Rose appearing on the bench.

This will be great news for Poch, who will likely want to rotate his players through the busy holiday period.

Spurs have also announced today that Kieran Trippier is undergoing the final stages of his rehab after picking up a groin injury.

Erik Lamela is being assessed after picking up a thigh injury against Inter, luckily this isn’t a repeat of his reoccurring hip problem.

Dembele is now back from his rehab in Qatar and continues to work on his ankle injury.

Davinson Sanchez is also continuing his own rehabilitation, with Victor Wanyama receiving treatment for his knee injury.

Slowly but surely, Tottenham are getting their squad back into contention.
