Team News: Five ruled out for Tottenham’s FA Cup replay against Middlesbrough

Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update to journalists in attendance at Jose Mourinho’s pre-Middlesbrough press conference at Hotspur Way this afternoon.

In line with the usual protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mourinho answering questions prior to the visit of the Championship outfit to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tomorrow night.

Spurs were held to a 1-1 draw by Jonathan Woodgate’s side in the third round of the FA Cup a week last Sunday, coming from behind courtesy of a Lucas Moura header to force a replay.

Boro come into the game on the back of a 2-2 draw against Derby at the Riverside Stadium on Saturday having conceded an injury time equaliser to cost them all three points.

As expected, Jose Mourinho is still without the services of Hugo Lloris (elbow), Ben Davies (ankle), Tanguy Ndombele (hip), Moussa Sissoko (knee) and Harry Kane (hamstring).

There are no fresh injury concerns following Saturday’s Premier League defeat to Liverpool.

Journalist Alasdair Gold, who attended the press conference confirmed the update on his Twitter account.
