Team News: Four missing and one doubt for Tottenham’s trip to Arsenal

Tottenham Hotspur have released a team news update ahead of Sunday’s North London derby.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side make the short trip to the Emirates to face rivals Arsenal in what is a huge game for both teams.

After suffering respective defeats to Newcastle United and Liverpool in their last fixtures, what better way to return to action by taking the bragging rights in the derby.

Tanguy Ndombele has been ruled out after failing to recover from his thigh issue

Juan Foyth is still sidelined with the ankle injury he picked up in the pre-season match against Bayern Munich while fellow right-back Kyle Walker-Peters is also sidelined due to the hamstring issue he sustained against Newcastle.

To add to the selection woes at right-back, Eric Dier is being assessed after complaining of irritation in his hip.

Dele Alli is back in full training following his own hamstring issues and could be in contention after it was decided he wouldn’t be risked against the Magpies.

Ryan Sessegnon remains out.
