Team News: Four missing and one uncertain for the visit of RB Leipzig

Tottenham Hotspur have released an injury update ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League match.

RB Leipzig are the visitors to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium for the first leg of the round of sixteen match.

Spurs confirmed earlier that Heung-min Son will miss the match after sustaining a fracture to his right arm during the 3-2 win against Aston Villa on Sunday and will be sidelined for a number of weeks after undergoing surgery this week (Spurs official).

The South Korean joins Harry Kane (hamstring) and Moussa Sissoko (knee) in having to undergo rehabilitation following surgery with Kane and Sissoko not expected to return to training until April.

Juan Foyth also misses the match against the side who are second in the Bundesliga table due to a groin problem where he is currently in the late stages of conditioning.

Erik Lamela (thigh) is being assessed ahead of the match and would represent a welcome boost considering Son’s unavailability.

Journalist Alasdair Gold who is in attendance at today’s pre-Leipzig press conference confirmed the news on Twitter.
