Team News: French star back in contention – Four ruled out for trip to Watford

Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update to journalists in attendance at Jose Mourinho’s pre-Watford press conference at Hotspur Way this afternoon.

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mourinho answering questions prior to the visit to Vicarage Road tomorrow lunchtime.

Spurs are looking to stop a run of two successive league defeats in a row when they take to the field against the Hornets who have enjoyed a new lease of life under manager Nigel Pearson.

As expected, Spurs are still without the services of Ben Davies (ankle), Tanguy Ndombele (hip), Moussa Sissoko (knee) and Harry Kane (hamstring).

However, it has been revealed that Hugo Lloris is back in training, which could even make him available for the Watford game this weekend.

Confirmation of the injury update was provided by Jonathan Veal.

Spurs Web Opinion:

Spurs need to take all three points from this match or could risk being twelve points adrift of fourth-place Chelsea if they beat Newcastle United at St James’ Park.
