Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update to journalists who have dialled into Jose Mourinho’s pre-Leicester City press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.
Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mourinho answering questions prior to the visit of Brendan Rodgers’ side to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Sunday afternoon.
This is the eigth pre-match press conference to take place through the Zoom video conferencing after the coronavirus pandemic means that journalists can no longer attend Hotspur Way in person.
Spurs are looking to record their third win in a row following victories against Arsenal and Newcastle United.
Spurs are once again without the services of central defender Eric Dier, who sits out the final game of his four match suspension.
Mourinho has confirmed that Dele Alli will once again miss out due to his hamstring injury, while he has left the door open for Serge Aurier to be part of his squad. The Ivorian is currently in France following the death of his brother.
PA Sport journalist Jonathan Veal confirmed the team news during the press conference.
Dele Alli will not be fit for Sunday's game against Leicester but he should be back for the Palace game. Serge Aurier is currently in France and it will be up to him again whether he is available. #THFC #COYS
