Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update to journalists who have dialled into Jose Mourinho’s pre-Sheffield United press conference from Hotspur Way this afternoon.
Such is the protocol since the coronavirus pandemic, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mourinho answering questions prior to the trip to Bramall Lane tomorrow evening.
This is the third pre-match press conference to take place on the Zoom video conferencing platform with journalists no longer able to attend the Tottenham training ground in person.
Academy product Japhet Tanganga is once again absent with a stress fracture of his back while Juan Foyth continues to miss out with a knee problem, there are no fresh injury concerns elsewhere in the Spurs squad following last week’s victory against West Ham United.
Jose Mourinho has told reporters in attendance that it is likely that the pair will miss the rest of the season.
Jose Mourinho on injuries: "Full squad, just Japhet Tanganga and Juan Foyth which we think will take until the end of the season."
