Team News: Spurs confirm five players miss Huddersfield match; one major doubt

Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League fixture against Huddersfield Town.

As expected, Harry Kane is ruled out for the match and the foreseeable future after he sustained a significant ankle injury during Tuesday night’s Champions League first leg victory against Manchester City.

The forward has already missed seven matches this season following the ankle problem which he picked up in the 1-0 defeat to Manchester United in January. During the last campaign, he was side lined for a total of 14 matches due to respective ankle issues.

Meanwhile, Dele Alli is continuing to be assessed due to the fractured left hand which he picked up in the same match.

Serge Aurier (hamstring), Eric Dier (hip flexor) and Erik Lamela (hamstring) all miss out along with Vincent Janssen (ankle).

Huddersfield, who have already been confirmed as relegated have lost all of their three Premier League meetings against Mauricio Pochettino’s side with an aggregate score of 0-8 and have only managed nine shots on target in those matches.
