The Portuguese has had to make do without the likes of Harry Kane, Eric Dier, Ben Davies, Matt Doherty, Brandon Austin, Ryan Sessegnon, Oliver Skipp, Gedson Fernandes, Pierre-Emile Hojbjerg, Toby Alderweireld, Steven Bergwijn, Hugo Lloris and Moussa Sissoko for the match at Vicarage Road against the Hornets (Spurs official).
Spurs have enjoyed an unbeaten start to their pre-season with victory against League One outfit Ipswich Town along with wins over Reading and Birmingham League of the Championship.
Spurs kick off their Premier League campaign next Sunday with the visit of Everton to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.
