Team News: Spurs missing six players and two unconfirmed for Ajax tie

Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update at Hotspur Way ahead of tomorrow’s crucial Champions League semi final first leg against Ajax Amsterdam.
Heung-min Son will not be available for the match at the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium after the yellow card he picked up during the tense match at the Etihad was enough to sit him serve a one-match suspension and will be watching from the stands with Vincent Janssen who is ineligible.

Harry Kane is still sidelined with the ankle injury he sustained in the last round, while Harry Winks (groin), Erik Lamela (hamstring) and Serge Aurier (hamstring) will all miss the visit of the Dutch giants.

There was some good news after Moussa Sissoko was spotted training with his team mates this morning ahead of the tie. The French midfielder picked up a groin injury just before half time in the second leg at Man City and has not featured since; he will be assessed ahead of tomorrow along with Jan Vertonghen.

Sissoko’s retun is a welcome boost for Maurico Pochettino who certainly does not have an abundance of options to choose from and will be looking for more of an energetic performance from his players compared to the display on Saturday against West Ham United.
