Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update ahead of tomorrow’s Premier League clash against Chelsea.
Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be looking to put the disappointing 2-1 defeat at Burnley on Saturday behind them by bouncing back with victory at Stamford Bridge.
They face a Chelsea side who had to play an extra 30 minutes in their Carabao Cup loss to Manchester City and hopefully their players will still be feeling the exertions of of extra time.
While many have already ruled Spurs out of the title race, anything less than three points will certainly put the final nail in the coffin.
The club have confirmed that Dele Alli once again misses out with his hamstring injury and is continuing his rehabilitation ahead of a possible return next month.
Eric Dier continues his spell on the sidelines with tonsillitis and will miss the clash in which he has historically relished with the physical side of his game.
? @dele_official (hamstring) – continuing with onfield rehab and progressing well.
