Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update ahead of tomorrow’s FA Cup fourth round tie against Southampton.

Jose Mourinho’s side travel to St Mary’s for the second time within the space of a month and will be looking to avenge the 1-0 defeat on New Year’s Day.

It has been confirmed that Ben Davies (ankle), Harry Kane (hamstring) and Moussa Sissoko (knee) are all still sidelined with their respective injuries.

Harry Winks is considered to be a doubt for the match on the south coast after picking up an ankle problem.

Winks was forced off after 56 minutes of the 2-1 victory against Norwich City on Wednesday evening following a challenge from Todd Cantwell and was replaced by Eric Dier.

The FA Cup represents Tottenham’s best chance of ending their eleven year wait for a competitive trophy.  The North London faithful will be expecting that their name is in the draw for the fifth round.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. Spurs need to get on a bit of a run, not easy as Southampton are a good team and then we have City next up. With that in mind I think they need to rotate a little for this game.

    KWP Foyth Sanchez Tanganga Rose

    Gedson Ndombele Lo Celso

    Parrott Lamela

Eriksen is gone soon, so have to start life without him. It’s not certain Rose is yet, so maybe one last hurrah or a way back in?

Son and Lucas would be good off the bench in 2nd half if needed. Tony absolutely needs a rest, Jan hasn’t looked gr8. Foyth needs game time, KWP needs game time as does Parrott
