Team News: Three Spurs players ruled out for trip to Burnley while one returns to training

Tottenham Hotspur have provided a team news update to journalists in attendance at Jose Mourinho’s pre-Burnley press conference at Hotspur Way this afternoon.

Such is the protocol, the media are informed of the availability of the Spurs squad ahead of Mourinho answering questions prior to the visit of his former side to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium on Saturday evening.

Spurs are currently in a poor run of form having lost each of their last four matches in all competitions, anything less than a win at Turf Moor would be catastrophic to their outside chances of finishing in the top four of the Premier League.

As expected, Harry Kane (hamstring), Heung-min Son (arm) and Moussa Sissoko (knee) are continuing their rehabilitation and remain unavailable for selection.

Hugo Lloris has returned to training following the groin problem which has kept him out of the last two matches against Wolverhampton Wanderers and Norwich City.

Football journalist Alasdair Gold who was at the press conference confirmed the news on his Twitter account.
