Team News vs Ajax: Three ruled out, three back in training and one player unable to play

Tottenham Hotspur have released a team news update ahead of tomorrow’s Champions League semi final second leg against Ajax.

Spurs travel to Amsterdam looking to get revenge on the 1-0 defeat they suffered at the new stadium last Tuesday night if they are to book a place in the final on June 1st.

The club have confirmed that Harry Kane (ankle), Harry Winks (groin) and Davinson Sanchez will all miss the match. Sanchez played the full 90 minutes of the 1-0 loss at Bournemouth on Saturday afternoon but is now sidelined with a thigh problem.

Jan Vertonghen has returned to training and will wear a protective mask if he faces his former side tomorrow.

Serge Aurier has also returned to training following his hamstring injury along with Erik Lamela who had a similar problem. Lamela is know to have travelled to Amsterdam.

Vincent Janssen remains ineligible to feature in the Champions League after being left out of Tottenham’s nominated squad for the competition.
