Attention turns to the FA Cup on Sunday for Tottenham when we make the trip to League One outfit, Rochdale.
This will be the third consecutive round in which we have faced lower league opposition, having already faced MK Dons and Newport County. However, this is something we cannot take for granted, having narrowly escaped a banana skin against the Welsh side.
Rochdale have had a new pitch laid ahead of the cup encounter at Spotland, which has been in the headlines recently for its poor condition, so at least our players have the reassurance that they won’t be playing on beach-like conditions.
Turning attention to team selection, after the exploits against Juventus in midweek. I’m hoping that Pochettino will shuffle his pack.
