“Thank you PSV” – Some Spurs fans share their three-word Barca match reports

Nearly 24 hours after Tottenham Hotspur secured their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League following a spirited display at Barcelona, fans have been taking to Twitter to share their three-word match reports.

Tottenham knew they had to match Inter Milan’s result at home to PSV Eindhoven to progress through to the last 16 and it was a nervy few hours.

Spurs went behind to Ousmane Dembele’s early goal but showed great belief to come back into the game and had a spate of chances to level throughout the game, but could not make a breakthrough.

Eventually, it was substitute Lucas Moura’s 85th-minute equaliser that earned a priceless point after Inter had failed to find a winner against the group’s bottom side.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side become only the eighth side to qualify from the group stage after claiming only one point from their first three games. They will find out on Monday who they will face in the next round when the draw is made.
