“That was close” – Some Spurs fans react to FA Cup draw against Palace

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have been reacting on Twitter to the news that we will face Crystal Palace in the fourth round of the FA Cup.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will travel to Selhurst Park to take on Palace who currently find themselves in fourteenth place in the Premier League table having only lost one of their last six top flight matches.

Tottenham have already tasted success at Palace this season in early November when Juan Foyth scored the only goal of the game.

He became the match winner in the second half, reacting quickest as Palace failed to attack the second ball after Harry Kane’s header had deflected into Foyth’s path.

Spurs made it to the semi final of the FA Cup last season only to lose 2-1 to Manchester United at Wembley. Dele Alli put Tottenham ahead, only for United to bounce back through Herrera and Sanchez.

Tottenham came close to drawing Arsenal or Manchester United when they were two of the final four balls left in the draw along with Spurs and Crystal Palace.

Here is some reaction from the Spurs faithful.
