“That’s more like it” – Some Spurs fans react to the team vs Watford

Some Tottenham Hotspur fans have taken to Twitter to share their reaction to the team news announcement for today’s match against Watford.

Spurs will be hoping it’s a case of third time lucky in the Premier League in 2020 with the North Londoners still in search of their first top flight win of the new year.

Jose Mouriho’s side are one of just two sides yet to keep an away clean sheet in the Premier League this season, along with Aston Villa. Spurs have conceded in each of their last 18 away league games, their longest such run in the top-flight since April 1977 (a run of 20).

Dele Alli has scored five Premier League goals against Watford in eight appearances for Spurs – against no side has he scored more in the competition (also five vs Chelsea and Southampton).

Japhet Tanganga once again operates at left back while Christian Eriksen drops to the bench where he is joined by new signing Gedson.

Here’s how some Spurs fans reacted on social media to the team selection.
