“The biggest bottle-job in Premier League history” – Piers Morgan blasts Arsenal

Arsenal supporting ‘celebrity’ Piers Morgan has hit out at the Gunners after their 1-1 draw against Brighton yesterday.

The point means that the Gunners go into the final day of the Premier League campaign on 67 points, three behind Spurs.

Tottenham are in fourth on 70 points but with a far superior goal difference of eight.

Barring a miracle, Mauricio Pochettino’s side will secure another season of Champions League football while Arsenal will continue to play on Thursday night in the Europa League unless they can win the tournament this season.

They have one foot in the final having beaten Valencia 3-1 in the semi final first leg.

Morgan, the shamed former editor of the Mirror took to Twitter to blast the Arsenal players for their poor performances in recent weeks which have seen them fail to capitalise on Tottenham’s indifferent form.

Despite not signing any players in the past two transfer windows. Spurs are once again set to finish above the Woolwich in the table.
