The team Spurs must pick to beat Brighton

Tottenham Hotspur will be looking to put the disappointing defeat to Manchester City behind them the evening when they travel to Premier League newcomers Brighton.

The defeat at Wembley on Saturday ended our unbeaten record in the Premier League during 2018 and Mauricio Pochettino will be keen for his side to bounce back and extend their advantage over fifth-placed Chelsea to ten points.

Some will say, who cares? But a win this evening will also ensure that Tottenham finish above rivals Arsenal for the second successive season.

Turning attention to team news, both Danny Rose and Harry Winks are ruled out through injury.

If you were Poch, what would your starting team be for tonight?  This is the line up we would like to see.

Aurier Vertonghen Alderweireld Davies

Dier Wanyama

Dele Eriksen Lucas

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. It would be good to see Toby back. As long as Lamela does not play I don’t mind too much and maybe it is time for Lucas to have a run out.

  2. play the team you think will win please Mauricio, similarly on weekend. Both FA Cup and CL league placing are important.

  3. let lucas and alderweireld play… they deserve some game time… potch… stop your bullshit and give other players a chance too..
