It wouldn’t be Sunday without some Tottenham transfer gossip from the newspapers. Below we’ve rounded up the speculation which involves our beloved club.
First up is a rumour which we haven’t seen in a few months but always rears its head. According to the Daily Express, Manchester United and Paris St-Germain will both try to sign Hugo Lloris this summer.
Why Lloris would leave Tottenham for Manchester United when they look likely to miss out on a Champions League place (via league qualification) when on current form, we’ll be playing in Europe’s top competition once more beggars belief!
Meanwhile, Tottenham are lining up Clarets striker Andre Gray, 25, as a replacement for 22-year-old Netherlands international Vincent Janssen according to the Daily Mirror.
The paper claims that Janssen will be sold this summer to fund a move for Gray, who only has 12 months remaining on his contract at Burnley.
And finally…Tottenham, Arsenal, Manchester City, West Ham and Everton are all interested in Sunderland’s England Under-21 goalkeeper Jordan Pickford.
