With work continuing to progress on the new Tottenham Hotspur stadium, construction officially began on March 2015 and, just under three years later, it’s amazing to think that within a matter of months that we will be sitting in the ground cheering our beloved team on.

2. Capacity

The capacity of the new stadium is 62,062 and will be the largest football club stadum in London, surpassing Arsenal’s Emirates Stadium which holds 59,867.

The original planned capacity for the stadium was around 60,000 but improved seating layouts have meant that extra seats have been included.
