Tottenham confirm six players are missing for the visit of Burnley

Tottenham Hotspur have provided an update on their injury situation ahead of Saturday’s Premier League fixture against Burnley.

The club have confirmed that a number of players will once again be missing for the match at Wembley.

Serge Aurier (groin) and Mousa Dembele (ankle) have began on-field rehabilitation, while Davinson Sanchez and Juan Foyth (both hamstring) have entered the late stages of conditioning work.

Meanwhile Victor Wanyama (knee) is still sidelined and Kieran Trippier (groin) is continuing an individual preventative and conditioning program after suffering a reoccurrence of the injury he sustained in the 3-1 win against Southampton.

With both established right-backs still injured, it could mean that Kyle Walker-Peters is given another opportunity to impress following his appearance against Barcelona on Tuesday.

The 21-year-old had a rough start at the Nou Camp for his part in Barcelona’s goal in the opening few moments but bounced back and put in a superb block later on to deny Coutinho a shot on goal.
