Tottenham Hotspur Player Ratings vs Fulham

Heurelho Gomes - Header

Gomes (8) – Not a whole lot to do but composed and confident in everything. Good tip over from Gera header at start of second half.

Corluka (6) – Fine defensively but frustrating going forward as despite him combining well with Kranjcar the play tends to slow down when he’s on the ball.

Assou-Ekotto (7) – Very good at the back. Helped out Bassong with Zamora effectively and kept Duff in check. His poor crossing didn’t fit with his generally skilful performance.

Bassong (7) – Difficult to judge as we don’t know what his orders were. If they were to stop Zamora turning and not give away free kicks then he did well. A tough afternoon for him.

Dawson (7) – Solid and dependable as ever. Restricted his hoofs towards Crouch.

Bale (8) – Continually dangerous & exciting on the left wing. Rarely wasted possession.

Palacios (9) – A superb performance. Full of running and controlled passing and skill.

Modric (7) – Saw plenty of the ball but found the Fulham defence just as difficult to break down as everybody else.

Kranjcar (7) – His shooting seemed our best chance of a goal for long periods, unfortunately his efforts were either charged down or inaccurate mostly. Worked hard defensively.

Pavlyuchenko (6) – Suffered due to lack of service. Generally anonymous.

Crouch (6) – More prominent than Pav but still ineffective. The ball rarely stuck to him when played forward, too often it just bounced out of a jumble of arms and legs.
