Tottenham Hotspur’s home and away kits were officially unveiled yesterday and there was a touch of deja vu when photos appeared online of Barcelona turned up for training this morning.
Nike are well known for the recycling of their kit designs across Europe and Tottenham’s new away kit is in fact, Barcelona’s training kit for the upcoming season.
It’s a shame that when you spend £60+ on a kit that the creative bods at Nike do not have the ability to create bespoke designs for each club.
Two players who will be wearing the new Spurs kit are Heung-min Son and Erik Lamela after they both signed new contracts until 2023 and 2022 respectively and follow in the footsteps of the likes of Harry Kane and Davinson Sanchez in committing their future to the club.
