Lyon have announced the signing of Tottenham Hotspur striker Reo Griffiths.
The 19-year-old moves to the French side on a four-year contract, after cancelling the third year of his scholarship at Spurs by mutual consent and the deal was announced on Lyon’s official Twitter account.

Tottenham are now due six years worth of training compensation for Griffiths, following the move.
He caught the eye of prospective clubs last season when he scored 33 goals for our Under 18 side, including a hat-trick against rivals Arsenal.
Lyon have beaten the likes of Barcelona, Real Madrid and PSG to land the highly rated prospect, hopefully this isn’t one we come to regret.
Earlier this summer, Spurs sold fellow teenager Keanan Bennetts to Bundesliga side Borussia Monchengladbach in a deal that could end up being worth £2m
Have something to tell us about this article?
Sounds like something under the radar (that others don’t know about) about Griffiths to me that Spurs are letting him go like this.
First team game time. More money. Can’t blame the kid. Good to see English talent outside of England.
He has to earn that 1st ream place. Sounds like his “young” head has been turned by offer of bigger money elsewhere.
Would you want to spend your career behind Kane ?
