There were absolute scenes in the away end at the San Siro stadium when Christian Eriksen put Tottenham Hotspur ahead in the Champions League opener against Inter Milan.
It was scruffiest goal you’ll see but Spurs won’t care. Christian Eriksen had one effort and was saved.
The ball came back out and the Dane had a second go. He blasted the follow-up into Inter defender Miranda and the ball looped up and over Samir Handanovic and into the back of the net.
Hopefully this goal will give Eriksen the confidence to rekindle the form he showed for us last season. The Spurs fans in the away end absolutely loved it.
