talkSPORT radio presenter Adrian Durham has claimed that Tottenham Hotspur have embarrassed English football in a way which Arsenal never did.
Tottenham’s 2-7 defeat to Bayern Munich in North London on Tuesday evening was the biggest ever margin by an English team at home in any European competition.
Durham, who is known to try and wind up supporters during his Drive show even suggested that Spurs should apologise to the nation after their humiliating display.
Tottenham now face two huge back to back matches against Red Star Belgrade which will play a pivotal part in deciding whether Mauricio Pochettino’s side make it through to the knockout stages of the Champions League.
