Video: Adrian Durham suggests Pochettino is out of tune with the Spurs fans

talkSPORT radio host Adrian Durham has claimed that Mauricio Pochettino is not in tune with the Tottenham Hotspur fans.

During his Drive radio show, Durham feels that the Spurs faithful want to win a domestic trophy while the club did not prioritise the Carabao Cup by resting star striker Harry Kane.

Tottenham have not tasted success since they lifted the League Cup following an extra time win against Chelsea at Wembley in 2008.

Durham also questioned Mauricio Pochettino’s future in North London whilst also struggling to understand why the club appear to be concentrating on the Premier League and Champions League which he is of the opinion is out of their reach.

Given the current poor form the club are experiencing, it’s fashionable within the media to criticise Mauricio Pochettino and his decisions.

The Argentine needs to be given the time to turn things around; after all we are still only in September and he is working with limited powers under Daniel Levy.

Have something to tell us about this article?

  1. I’d be very happy if the Argentinian pretender left. 6 years in the job and no trophy to show for his so called genius who blames everyone else but himself. He’s a fucking joker. Even tinker man whilst at Leicester City won the Premier League with a lot less money, a largely inferior team but a superior tactician at the helm. The sooner Pochettino fucks off the sooner we get a manager in who knows what he’s doing.

  2. I think he Durham is happy to spout his inflammatory anti-Tottenham rhetoric at any available opportunity and in reality does not speak for Tottenham fans or what they desire! I therefore pay little credence to anything that the contentious talk sport presenter has to say in these regards. Yes of course Spurs do want to win trophies but the carling cup hardly takes precedence over a top four finish or CL football in all honesty
