Toby Alderweireld has admitted he was left surprised by Tottenham Hotspur’s decision to sack Mauricio Pochettino.
The defender gave his reaction whilst on international duty with Belgium.
Alderweireld, who is out of contract in North London at the end of the season acknowledged the progress the club made under Pochettino but also insisted it’s a decision which he and his fellow players have to accept.
