Toby Alderweireld took to Instagram earlier today after he visited the brand new Tottenham Hotspur stadium for the very first time.
The central defender was in N17 with the rest of his Spurs teammates after Mauricio Pochettino decided to hold a first training session at the ground which also served as an exercise for the players to get used to the new facilities such as the changing room.
Alderweireld recorded footage of himself walking down the player’s tunnel and down to pitchside with the caption ‘This is special, far beyond my expectations’ which he posted on his Instagram story.
Spurs fans will be hoping that the Belgian will still be walking out of the tunnel in a Spurs shirt come the start of next season.
