Ajax prepared for Wednesday night’s Champions League semi final second leg against Tottenham Hotspur with an emphatic win earlier today.

The Dutch giants faced Willem II in the final of the KNVB Cup and ran out comfortable 4-0 winners at the
Feyenoord Stadium

Manager Erik ten Hag made with Rasmus Kristensen coming on for Joël Veltman at right-back, Noussair Mazraoui filling in for Lasse Schöne in midfield and veteran forward Klaas Jan Huntelaar starting ahead of David Neres.

Ajax opened the scoring in the 38th minute when former Manchester United defender Daley Blind headed in a cross. Klaas Jan Huntelaar added a second less than 60 seconds later to give them a 2-0 lead going ito the half time break.

Huntelaar got his second of the match on 67 minutes and the scoring was rounded off when Rasmus Kristensen netted in the 76th minute to give them a comfortable victory and a clean sheet ahead of the visit of Spurs.

Mauricio Pochettino’s side will be looking to overturn a 1-0 loss in Amsterdam to book their place in the Champions League final.
