Video: Andy Gray makes a bold prediction for Spurs’ season under Mourinho

Former Aston Villa striker Andy Gray has tipped Jose Mourinho to take Tottenham Hotspur to the Champions League final this season.

Former boss Mauricio Pochettino made history during the last campaign when he guided Spurs to the final of European football’s most prestigious club competition for the first time in their history, only to come up short against Liverpool in Madrid.

Mourinho began life at Spurs yesterday with a 3-2 victory against West Ham United courtesy of goals from Heung-min Son, Lucas Moura and Harry Kane which was the North London club’s first away win in a competitive fixture since January.

On Tuesday night, they can book their place in the knockout stages of the Champions League with a win against bottom side Olympiacos at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium.

During his punditry duties with beIN Sports, Gray was full of praise for the Portuguese’s impact at Spurs before going on to stick his neck on the line with his prediction.
