Video: Arsenal legend says he would be amazed if Spurs star escapes ban

Former Arsenal midfielder Ray Parlour has claimed that he would be amazed if Heung-min Son’s red card is rescinded.

The South Korean was sent off in the second half of the 2-0 defeat to Chelsea on Sunday after VAR ruled he had kicked out at defender Antonio Rudiger.

Tottenham have already confirmed that they have appealed the decision and are looking to overturn the ban (Daily Mail).

Son is currently facing a three match ban which will see him miss the Boxing Day visit of Brighton along with the fixtures against Norwich City and Southampton.

Parlour also cited the fact that former Premier League referee Dermot Gallagher believes that a red card was warranted for the 27-year-old’s actions (Sky Sports).
