Video: Arsenal-supporting radio presenter blasts Spurs and Liverpool

Tottenham Hotspur continue to come in for criticism from those in the media following their decision to utilise the government’s furlough scheme.

The latest person to blast Daniel Levy’s decision to take advantage of the scheme is talkSPORT presenter Laura Woods.

Spurs announced last Tuesday that they had reduced the wages of their 550 non-football staff by 20% for April and May, in some cases by placing them on furlough

The self-confessed Arsenal supporter (Twitter) believes that the likes of Tottenham and Liverpool should not be able to utilise the scheme which will pay staff 80% of their wages, to a maximum of £2,500 a month.

Woods, who has taken over from former Spurs striker Alan Brazil as the presenter of the talkSPORT breakfast show for the Monday to Wednesday slot claimed it is sickening for those who can not utilise the scheme and it should not be for the Premier League giants to use.
