Football fans who tuned into BBC’S Match of the Day programme last night would have heard during the highlights of Brighton’s match against Liverpool, the media’s continuing crusade for Jurgen Klopp’s side to win the title.
The commentator is heard referring to Liverpool as “the champions” when they haven’t won the top flight title in over 28 years.
Liverpool are currently seven points ahead of Manchester City and nine better off than Tottenham, however, both City and Spurs both have a game in hand over the Red which could reduce the margin to four and six points respectively.
The media’s obsession with Liverpool and Pochettino to United is becoming very tiring.
